Too bad they can't get the golrawn wind turbine clutter out of the mountains. I make money off the vegetation management of the powerline right of way and around the towers themselves, but the damned things are a blight on the landscape and have a HUGE footprint for the amount of power they generate. Add to this the fact that they must be decommissioned at about the same time they pay back initial costs, and you have a scam. The only thing that makes them worthwhile to the operators is the government subsidies.
