31 May 2010, Sinking Creek Valley/VA 42 The rain subsided enough to stop the water from coming in. Last night Popcorn was talking very loud in his sleep. 30 May 2010, Camping We got up and got out of the shelter this morning, around eight. We got to the Captain's zip line about nine. I was unsure how to use the zip line across the creek work. The Captain came and showed us how to use it. 29 May 2010, Pine Swamp Shelter What a great day. The terrain was very easy. The only thing that held me back from putting in the miles to make it to the hiker feed was Hopper. She was not able to stay with me most of the day. I was constantly waiting for her on and off throughout the day. When we reach the side trail to Allegheny Trail I waited for Hopper. 28 May 2010, Pearisburg When I woke up this morning and checked with Hopper to see how she felt. She told me she felt good today. I could tell by her demeanor that she was actually feeling better.
