After realizing the straps on my long neglected bright blue Tioga had gone hard and were old tech, I sent Kelty an email with some photos requesting information on updating the straps. This is what the pack looked like to start:

This year marks our 25th wedding anniversary. It's been an adventure all on its own. The year we got married, and a number of times after, we visited the Whites in NH. We did a little day hiking, took the Cog to the top of Mount Washington, and hiked the flat stuff. Once reaching a plateau called Wolf Rocks,
a fellowmcamemupon some hard knocks.
For ten miles there were stones
that nearly cracked his bones.
But worst was the cramp in his buttocks

A fat man on a hike to Kid Gore
had a plan to lose pounds by the score.
In a mile he was dazed
lost in regions unblazed.
He alas will be seen nevermore.

There's a certain carefree, careless gent
who frequents the AT north of Kent.
he does what few would dare
and is seen often bare:
dozing on Schaghticoke with no tent.
