    Monday May 21 Leave Chesterfield 3am 7.5 hours to Knoxville 3.25 hours to Deep Gap On the trail by 3pm Deep Gap to Carter Gap Shelter 8.3 miles Hiked up to Standing Indian Shelter through Beech Gap to Cater Gap which was nice Shelter with a common breezeway eating area.     Started at 2:17 in dense fog at Springer Hiked 7 miles to Hawk Mtn on easy trail. 3/29 Woods Hole Shelter Hiked 18 miles of moderate ups and downs 3/30 Whitley Gap Shelter Hiked 21 miles Highlights was going thru Neels Gap and seeing Baltimore Jack who we'd see again at Harpers Ferry and Hanover. 3/31 Rocky Mtn Campsite Hiked 17 miles and arrived at 8:16pm exhausted!   3. Lewis Falls Loop Hike - Shenandoah National Park @ Big Meadows / Appalachian Trail

    Continuing our journey south on the Appalachian Trail through Shenandoah National Park, we hiked between Big Meadows Campground and Rock Spring Hut and also extended a little south on a loop of the AT that went to Lewis Falls.
