10 May 2011 - Tue- Day 57: Clear/80F HOT 11 Miles to mile 861 Calf Mountain Shelter. Low miles today due to resupply in Waynesboro. Ended the Blue Ridge Parkway and started Skyline Drive.

11 May 2011 - Wed - Day 58: Part Cloudy/ 80F 27 miles to mile 887.2 Pinefiled Hut. This is the easiest miles thus far.

12 May 2011 - Thu - Day 59: Overcast/ 75F 32.8 miles to mile 919.3 Rock Spring Hut. Great Day and terrain for long miles.

13 May 2011 - Fri - Day 60: Overcast 75F 30 Miles to mile 949. South Marshall Mountain area and camped for the night.

14 May 2011 - Sat - Day 61: Rain 70F 27 miles to mile 976.3 Dick’s Dome Shelter. Unique shelter. Small Good location. Beginning to get tired of high miles but I need to reach Harpers Ferry to meet up with family.

15 May 2011 - Sun - Day 62: Rain 70F 15.3 miles to mile 991.6 Sam Moore Shelter. Started the “Rollercoaster” today. Got tired of the rain and called the day short. Will reach Harpers Ferry tomorrow.

16 May 2011 - Mon - Day 63: Overcast 75F Breezy. 22.7 miles to mile 1014.3 to Harpers Ferry ATC. Very easy and fast miles. Finished the “RollerCoaster” early in the morning. There is a very sloppy section at the beginning of the West Virginia portion of the trail. But this is a fast and easy section.
