  1. N2TW: Appalachian Trail 2013 - Episode #11 (The Georgia Plan)

    Gator sits down and shows you the electronics to be used, has a message for his wife, and begins his ITINERARY series with the Georgia Plan where he will give ALL DETAILS for his hike through Georgia. I definitely would like to know any suggestions, experiences, or overall thoughts. Thank you.

  2. Zeroing (again?) in Hiawassee

  3. Finished Georgia section in October

    My hubby and I hiked the GA section in 8.5 days in October. What a great experience! I have blogged about our adventures at www.appalachiantrailsectionhiking.blogspot.com if anyone would like to know how it went for us. We are age 62 male and age 58 female. Never hiked so much before, and never with a pack. We learned a lot. Plan to return to the trail in the spring and do part of NC.

  4. Countdown: 26 days to GA->WV '10

    New PRW post:

    I've already booked a bunk for the first hostel on the NoBo AT: Hiker Hostel, near Dahlonega, Georgia.

    For $70 you get the thru-hiker special: Shuttle from the airport/train or bus station in Atlanta, stay overnight, breakfast and a shuttle to the beginning of the AT.

    Look soon for a "What's ahead in Georgia"-type post.
