Started out on Feb. 27 hiking up the approach trail after being dropped of by my daughter Caroline. Left the falls around noon and passed several hikers on the way up to Springer. Hiked to Neels Gap arriving March 3 and will post more about the first few days. I will be taking ten students up to Dennis Cove in the morning and continue this adventure.
