I took my 10 year old daughter up to the top of blood mountain over labor day weekend and we camped in hammocks. She carried her own sleeping bag, clothes and hammock and rocked it! It was fun to get a picture of her with her first white blaze!

That's awesome, so she enjoyed and wants to go out for more I hope? After all we have to teach the next generation the beauty of hiking and camping. And they'll be are next trail blazers and trail maintainers. And of course whiteblaze members!
It saddens me I missed the opportunity with my kids. Oh well maybe grandkids one day.
