Has anyone heard any news about Papa Smurf, aka, Tear Drop? Clayton Howard Gardner III was wanted for questioning in the murder of Stonewall, Scott Lilly, in August 2011. I had extremely negative personal interactions with Papa Smurf in April 2011. Is he still in jail, on unrelated charges, or back on the trail harassing good hikers?
The Lilly murder is still unsolved.
