I am still looking for someone to at least start the nobo like with at Springer Mt.Wanting to section hike, so will go to NC this trip. Can start now or anytime this month would be good. Would be able to do 8 to 10 miles per day. Let me know. Thanks

Sharijo, I will be hiking the Approach Trail to Neel's Gap starting May 19th. You are welcome to join me for that section. My tentative itinerary (all AT itineraries are tentative):
Day 1 - Approach Trail to Stover Creek Shelter.
Day 2 - To Gooch Mountain Shelter.
Day 3 - To Lance Creek Restoration Area.
Day 4 - To Neel's Gap.
Terry, That sounds good. I would like to meet up with you at Springer Mt. parking lot, 1 mile from Springer going nobo. I have hiked the approach trail and don't want to do it again. when do you think you will be there? think it is 8.8 miles to Springer and then 1 mile to parking lot.
