There are several listed in Attroll's "Whitepages". You should get a copy. $250 to $400 depending on who you choose.
We put ours under a pack of his own and took him along...
Last I checked, dogs aren't allowed on the AT in the smokies. If you took your dog through the smokies, you broke a rule.Quote:

A local friend watched him for 4 days. My wife was nearly in tears. Scout was 5 years old, and that was the first time we’d ever left him anywhere!

Aldo can you please clarify your initial post? You are leaving for Springer in March (to thruhike?) with or without your dog? Sounds like yes but you want to figure out how to board him when you reach the Smokies?
