My boyfriend & I are planning a section through GA in late May & we were thinking about camping at the Poplar Stamp Gap at mile 44 but I've heard now that there are some trees down in the area blocking the campsite. Some have said that there is a nice clear area to camp at about 44.5. Does anyone know any updated info about this?
