That's what I though initially too, but I recently got my iPhone3G for $199.
I've always said that "Labor Day should be the ONE day of the year that we all work." :D
This year's Southern Regional Gathering of the FTA will be hosted by the Loxahatchee Chapter on Oct 31 - Nov 2 at Jonathan Dickinson State Park in Hobe Sound, FL. See link below for additional...
Wahoo - there's a good campground at Midway and also a commercial one near Ochopee (kinda tacky...it's home to Skunk Ape headquarters). For motels, the nearest would be in Everglades City. ...
Good stuff...Thanks!
Can't make it for the Muck-A-Bout but I'll be doing my own version of it at Apoxee Park in West Palm Beach tommorrow. It never ocurred to me before to pack a mask, snorkle & fins for a day hike, but...

LOL Good stuff!
I'd be interested!
Haven't been to the Juniper area yet, hopefully sometime soon!
Yeah, it's been raining here the last couple of days too (South FL). The rivers, err, I mean trails should be back to normal soon.
Oops, I'm calendar-challenged....today is June 15th!
May 15th and it's still dry! I hiked in a couple miles from the Southern Terminous on Loop Rd. today and didn't see even a puddle anywhere on the trail.
Go for it! If I didn't have certain financial obligations, I'd do it in a heartbeat.
Thanks for the link, Travis. I'll be sure to check it out.
From a practical & safety standpoint, I agree...but there's nothing quite like soft, warm candle light vs. the bright, cold light of an LED.
Just another typical South Florida day here....mid 90's, high humidity...you know, the usual. :sun
