I sent home stuff sacks and wind proof matches and water bottles like Klean kanteen -- too heavy use empty Gatorade bottles!!

a few years ago I had serivce at Clingman's Dome, I was a Sprint user. I did not turn my phone on much throughout the rest of the Smokies section but pretty sure I had service at Fontana Dam too.

I'm bringing mine. They are lightweight and better safe than sorry eh? Plus, makes a good pillow ;)
