Which do you prefer to do in the field repairs with Duck (duct) or Gorilla Tape?
Doesn't dark chocolate have a high melting point? And you could pretend that you are eating healthy.
Marty1983's suggestion of the Neoair is a good one. I have slept on a shelter floor at -10°F and was just fine. I understand they also have a winter one, better R rating abut also heavier.
Just thought it was a funny sight, nothing more.
Saw this tree on my AT thru of Hanover NH today.15090
I'm still in the dreaming phase for a possible 2014 Thru and I was just wondering how folks resupply their cash while on trail?
Thanks
The 2010 Thru-Hikers Handbook indicates that there is the possibility of camping at a lean-to on NPS land off the Blue Mtn Lakes Rd in PA. They say that it is no longer maintained. Does anyone know...

Thanks Emerald but I have been to all the conventional places. I'm looking for first hand information. Kind of out of the box thinking.

Thanks Sasquatch, Tin Man for the advice/offers. I think I'm going to go with a third option.
Wystiria, sounds like a good paln if you can count on doing a given number of miles per day. I guess planning less in this case would be better.
So you are saying that if I get a shuttle on Sunday the 10th of May to a point about 75 miles south and walk back it would be a better choice. I am fairly flexable.
Tin Man, Sunday 17th would also work.
Thanks
Thanks Tin Man for your reply. I plan on leaving my car on CT 55 in Gaylordsville CT and walking south for about 6 days, that would be Shuttle back to my car on Saturday 16 May. I figure about 75...
