Longest known time on trail within one calendar year. This is a record I think I could make a run at. :D Anyone know what the current record is?

Feb 22nd solo start here, I plan to start slow though and work up to bigger miles to avoid injury but i may see you if you start near the 22nd.

I will be back doing the NCT/MRT loop the 28th, this weekend I'm clearing out the storage unit. My goal is to be comfortable doing the whole loop in one day and continue to do that into the cold...

I mainly hike the NCT/MRT loop. Closest thing I could find near me but if anyone has other ideas I'm open to other options.

Illinois here, I have been doing shakedown/break-in hikes in Michigan just about every weekend and wondered if anyone else in my area was preparing for 2017.

I am planning on hitting the falls the 3rd to check out the kickoff event at the falls and then begin the trail. I am from Chicago and have the same issue with nobody to plan with. Cheers!
