How many days did it take you? You said "this was just an overnight hike" on the youtube description, but Im assuming it was a typo and took more than 1 night.

just trying to bump this, since we only have about 3 weeks left.
sounded like a good deal for $70. Just curious what these usually go for new?
someone on Facebook recommended "Palmetto trail". That's about 55miles from Florence.
anybody know if there are plans to do the whole trail?
I'd contribute to a kickstarter for that.
My brother is a truck driver and he is stuck in a motel for about 9 days while his truck is fixed. So tomorrow morning me and my sister will be making the 7hour drive from Chattanooga to Florence, SC...
I love using Wikipedia to find trail info/history.. Even small trails you would think wouldn't have a wikiepedia page, do.
Although I can never tell if the info is fact or fiction, so I have to...
its only the 140 mile section in Talladega Natl Forest.
Hopefully we can get the GA section some time.
its basically a sign-in sheet.
Not a big deal to get. super easy.
$36,852.00
he wasnts to try as much of the georgia section (78miles) as he can during Labor Day weekend... friday, saturday, sunday, part of monday.
(He may not get another 4 days of free-time to hike the...
have you asked if he's allowed on raft? Some places may let him with a life vest, and trimmed nails.
Also, you should call the rafting place up and ask if they have a kennel or know of one near...
I don't want to start an argument. But personally, i WOULD take performance enhancing drugs (Not because of hiking. for personal reasons only). In fact, i once went to a pharmacy in Mexico to see...
yeah, make it fun.
it will help if the "end" has something fun. Like a waterfall they can look forward too.
But you mentioned rafting. So you are already int eh right direction.
I do like the "let kids lead" method.
once they start slacking and slowing down, its time to find an end.
If Im told to leave my dog at home because theres no room for them on the trail, then you leave your kids at home.
(Im kidding,though)
and luckily he knew when to "stop".
He made it 18.5 out of 21 miles..... 2.5 isn't THAT far. But luckily he knew to just stop instead of risking it.
Pain is Pain... But if you push it past...
I like to pick up 6 $1 cheeseburgers before a hike.... then for $6 I not only have all the food I need for the day, But I have the calories... for only $6
yeah, he took his brand new tent and ALL his gear, to test his limits....
apparently it was 18.5 miles out of 21miles.... which is REALLY good considering he's only been using his light day pack...
use a cheap steak knife and mark on the outside (or handle) a small mark. you don't need to go deep.
and you FINALLY got to use your tent and test your overnight gear out.
I will NEVER do dope.
HOWEVER, I have no problem doing my gamma-ray squats before ANY good hike.

number 24 is a foam pad.... look how small it is.... and apparently it "fits" facing front/back..... meaning its a 6inch wide pad. lol
