I found packets of honey mustard and little plastic containers of marinara sauce at White Castle. They also have that spicy brown mustard.
I have been asking around and looking for a source for the foil that is used in many wind screens like the MSR-type wind screens but in larger sizes. To be specific I would like to find a source for...
I like Paula Dean's House Seasoning (salt, pepper, and garlic) for a basic flavoring mix.

Where is the Sawyer filter located in WalMart? In the camping section? Cost?
If you can't the link above to work, try this one:

I just finished a gravity filter using a WalMart dry sack and the filter cartridge from my PUR Hiker. It works great and saved me about 7oz from carrying the PUR Hiker. The directions are on BPL.
Are those all GSI models oops56?
BTW,
I order one of the Aeropress espresso makers from Ebay for 26.99 w/ free shipping. I tried it out tonight and was VERY VERY VERY impressed on the quality...
I've been reading up on the Aeropress in the link in post #9. I think that it would be the best choice if it came down to it or the GSI. They both weigh ~8oz, which is still a little heavy IMHO, but...
There are a couple of different sizes of GSI Espresso makers, including stainless steel and an aluminum model. You brother may have the stainless.
Okay. I found the article in the new Backpacker 2008 Gear Guide, page 18.
He says:
That's the one that REI sells, which is listed on the REI site at 7.5oz and the GSI site for 8.5oz?????
I was reading an article in a backpacking magazine (I can't remember which one) and there was a blurb from TV's Survivorman, Les Stroud. He was talking about some of the luxury items that he carries...
Thanks for the info. I will put mine in a bleach solution tonight and see if it helps the taste.
