I took Snowman's boys over for a section hike at the end of May. They are 10 & 12. They had never backpacked before or really hiked long...

14 is a really low number!! When my husband (Snowman) summited on Tuesday the 27th (with me tagging along) his paper from the ranger had a number in the 200's.

It's funny...I thought I would gain weight too, but I have lost additional weight for a total of 26 pounds!! I think a lot of that is the stress of my husband being away. Only a few more day until...

Actually *petrol* and *gas* are two separate products. Cars in the UK run on *petrol* and the reason we pay so much is actually TAX to the lovely government.

We came across quite a few shelters that didn't have brooms...should have written down which ones... it's lovely to be the last one leaving the shelter and giving them a good sweep...leaves it nice...

Snowman left Hanover, NH yesterday afternoon. He's doing great! Did a shake down of his pack to lessen the load for the final stretch! I am SO proud of him!:sun
