I developed a small bunion on my left foot from my last 5 day hike, I over did it....16 miles a day starting with 6 days of food, by the time I was done I could hardly walk, my feet were so sore!...

Personally, I don't see why destroying these little sites is a good thing. While I would never, ever, create my own fire ring, I like these little out of the way places because it gives the hiker...

Update on this shelter....I went through here on 4/11/16 and this thing looked run down, and smelled something awful (probably from the firepit). The spring nearby was still running, and refreshing!
