the terrain is fairly easy- like I said, I led groups of pudgy 13 and 14yr olds that did not want to be there, over this ground, and they managed. But...

oh and everything south of greylock would be a pretty gradual hike, and while CT has sporadic shelters, there are some pretty easy in and out hikes that can be done...like Jug End Rd to Falls...
