How much do these weigh ?

I will never be without some sort of scale again. It's nice to actually know how much something weighs..

That doesn't sound like volunteering to me. I would guess that most people will come away from something they are forced to do with a bad taste in their mouth.

Most of the trail organizations make it a pain to volunteer. The people that I hike with would just rather trim limbs and a saw down trees, out of the way on their own. The elitist attitude truly...

My spreadsheets help me to not only know the weight, but also that when it gets over four pages its time for some of it...

I enjoyed having the box. Wish they're were a couple more scattered along the BMT. I actually straight a new notebook to place in it a couple of weeks ago, when I found it destroyed. Definitely done...

The climb from Double Springs to the Top of Big Frog keeps the riff raff out, well mostly. I'm still a little pisssed about the vandalism Of the mailbox.

Never hauled a watermelon, but have carried many 12 packs from Dally Gap parking lot to the Top of Big Frog. Thanks for sharing, love the pics. Possibly my favorite area to hike.

So true. I'm going to stash food Sunday for a hike from GSMNP back to hwy.68 starting on the 10th.
Everyone going is down about the weather, needs to change for morals sake. This has been planned...
