I'm brining a paperback and will have my husband send new ones as needed...I have a stack set aside. I'll be leaving them in the boxes if anyone is looking for a good read.

As of today I have all my gear. Started with the dehydrated fruits, veggies, beans. Will be putting together my first week of food and some drip boxes. Plan on resupply mostly in town.

C Seeker - you will not be 'alone' for long. There will be dozens of people you meet along the trail. Many times during the day you may find some solitude which you will enjoy and in the evenings...

Ok, I have a somewhat silly question....how do you keep your mp3, iPod, iPhone, Shuffle, Nano....whatever juiced up? My power doesn't last when I'm listening to music for more than 5 hours - that...
