Well Here is my first attempt at my PCT 2019 gear list. Just a few notes about the list
I will be doing a no cooking hike so there is no stove or fuel

Looks like I won't be able to make it
Sorry for the the long post
I take it this is parking lot where the AT spur trail is and not the parking lot up the road a bit. I will most likely be doing a 3 - 5 day hike spending the first night...
I should be able to make it
That should be phrophet
I have an MLD peripheral and have used several times including a weekend 3 day 2 night in Dolly Sods in WV. Love the pack and will use on the PCT in 2018

There is a hudson Trail store and an REI in Rockville MD on the red line at Whiteflint station. Both stores are within 1-2 miles of the station
I think it was 2013 or 2014 that a couple hike the trail and then continued on hiking the AT. I can't rememder their trail names but I think they documented their experience on Trailjournals .
Picked this up from the PCT list

How about the Great Eastern Trail - should be much less crowded
I have the Palisade and love it. Quality is top notch and when I corresponded with the company via email on sizing they got back to me within hours. I would not hesitate to buy from them again
I have the MLD prophet and have used for 3 -4 day backpacking trips including Dolly Sods and think it is a great pack
Saw it when they did the road show in Erwin Tn. Bought the dvd. Really enjoyed it.
Check Bucks30 journal on Postholer. Excellent journal plus a very good post hike advice.

I've seen several Tennessee AT plates in the Elizabethton, Johnson City area and I have one myself
You need to be a member to read the article
Here's another good article on the subject

If I can get my gear pared down it will be my MLD Prophet. Otherwise my ULA Circuit.
