My son and I did Woody Gap to Slaughter Creek Trail and from there to Lake Winfield Scott.Beautifal day for a hike on Oct. 20th.Plenty of water.Streams and creeks were flowing very good.

I will be on the trail heading to N.C. in oct. Made it to Woody Gap from Springer last year and had to stop because of a knee problem. Congradulations:)

I have a great grand boy that will be 3 in Sept. Cannot imagine taking him hiking very far, although he loves being outdoors. I think its great for her to take on the trail with her 2 kids.

Going back on the trail at Woody Gap where I left off last year when my knee gave out. Found out it is arthritis. I was trying to go too fast from Springer to Woody Gap. I will take it slower this...

What size did you get, a med. or a large? I have a circuit which is a large and my height and weight is the same as yours, although I understand our backs (Illiacc Crest) could be different.
