I have a notch for sale, thru hiked with it this year, 165 days minus towns/shelters, in great shape with no leaks or damage, 199 shipped to your door :P
Decided I want to use a different pack. $130 shipped FIRM. Used twice!!
I have for sale my Tarptent Notch that I thru hiked with this year. It is a great little shelter and sets up very fast once you get the hang of it. To my knowledge there is nothing wrong with it, no...
I have looked into that, and the schedules don't like up well, where I'd have to catch the 7am bus from Stowe if I want to make it to Burlington. Also, it only runs weekdays, and I most likely will...
Planning to do a section this week and the only unknown is getting from Smuggler's Notch to Burlington. I can probably hitch it but it would be nice to have a backup plan if necessary.
Clean, lightly used, no holes or damage, comes with the stuff sack. Adds a few degrees to your bag and keeps it clean as well. $30 to include shipping.
Asking for $80 to include shipping.
This jacket was lightly used during my AT thru hike. I never hiked in it (because it was too warm) and occasionally threw it on in camp. I only carried it for maybe a month. It is warm for its...
I just finished a thru hike of the AT with this pack. It performed perfectly and other than a little dirt, is in very good shape. There is a tiny rip in the mesh which is not a problem and not...
Either will work
You should be fine.

Mcafee, dragons tooth, tinker cliffs are good in VA. Skip SNP unless you drive it because the road has all the good views, the AT doesn't...Smokies are awesome but crowded. Cool sections north of...
Tinker cliffs is far better than Mcafees unless you go at a weird hour, or unless you like feeling like you're at the mall.
Don't get me wrong, I think what he did was amazing, but while we were hanging out at a shelter waiting for him to go by I couldn't help thinking "they don't get it".
Must be nice to have the option not to hike in the rain...on my whole thru hike there was only one time we even considered not going and it was above treeline in the Whites...every other place you...
Return it.
Every thru hiker I saw either had the $20 frog toggs (they work ok) or the OR helium 2...I might try those if I feel like spending $100. Anything more seems like overkill.
Last October it snowed 2 feet on Halloween while I was up there and was ten degrees at night. That was extreme though...20 degree bag with some warm layers should be good.
Macafee's knob would be a great place for a drop, there's usually 50 people up there to catch it. Same with clingmans, mt washington (if it doesn't blow away)
If you don't bring ten days of supplies, you will die :D
