I have the Big Agnes Copper Spur UL1...
I'm a small 5'4"... and my backpack will also fit in the tent with me.

I think it's worth the peace of mind..
For anyone worried about the extra weight, my advice would be to throw out a few bags of M&Ms.

I love my CS UL1, but I'm only 5' 4" and on the small side.
I can easily fit my backpack in there with me- but if I were any larger, I would definitely wish that I had purchased the UL2 instead.
