Thank you. I'm aware of and often use the ATC and the AWOL guide for finding reliable shuttles. I noticed this WhiteBlaze Forum is called Ride Board. Thought I would give it a shot as well.

Hi,
Subject line says it all. Looking for a shuttle for myself and a buddy on morning of Thursday May 24, from the trailhead lot on State Rd 55 in CT (just around the corner from Hoyt Rd...
Thanks for the shuttle leads, Cpt Kirk and rocketsocks. I actually used Bob Boyle last September when i hiked MOC to Delaware Water Gap. Great guy, but as we talked he mentioned he was retiring and...
Hi all,
As stated, I'm looking for shuttle New Jersey to take me and my hiking buddy from Mohican Outdoor Center to drop us at the NJ/NY line.
Our plan is to drive up from MD & park at the MOC...
+1 for the Hummy shuttle...he shuttled my buddy and I when we did the CT section over Memorial day. Great guy.
& good luck to you for your hike! I might suggest NOBO instead of SOBO, if you can....
Ended up staying at MOC, and hiking back to DWG in the morning. I was glad I did; a nasty overnight thunderstorm hit so I was dry and happy, as was my gear. And most of the hike was descent, so...
...another thing you might consider is getting an 'AT Stamp' . For section hikers like me, i make a bee line to these places just to get my book stamped; and tend to make a small purchse or two to...
You'll want to get listed in the AWOL Guide - pretty much the bible for thru hikers...i'm not sure how to contact him but it cannot be too hard. Hopefully you can get into the 2017 edition before it...

Anyone have thoughts on how crowded this site may be post-Labor day?
I'm thinking about parking at Kittatinny after work (say 5 or 6 pm ish) and hike up NOBO to Backpacker Campsite 2 this coming Friday (Sept 10).
What I'm trying to find out is how crowded I should...
ditto, thanks for the update. Hopefully its reopened by Memorial Day weekend, just for selfish reasons as that's when I'll be doing the CT portion of the AT...if not, i'm sure i can survive a...
I hiked by Pogo last fall. Primitive campsite but nothing remarkable as far as I could see, but I didn't go up to explore the site. There was a privy, as I recall, which is a bonus for a non-shelter...
never mind....
Any updates on the bridge situation?
Thanks Hummy. Yes, we could definitely use a shuttle from Paradise Lane Trailhead back down to Kent or Hoyt Rd/ Rt 55 (wherever we leave the car). Send me a direct msg if interested... AWOL also...
thanks Tom - i'm thinking NOBO is the way to go
Good advice. that's exactly what i was wondering. thanks OG!

Hi
My buddy and I will be hiking the CT section of the AT over Memorial Day weekend. I have some questions:
Does anyone have a NOBO/SOBO elevation gain comparison for CT? I found one elsewhere...
