i ordered the ghost whisperer online and kept it too long to return.
the Marmot i got in a store during summer and didn't try it on with any layers.
also i gained about 40lbs since...
i'm selling a men's size Medium ghost whisperer hooded jacket. there's nothing wrong with it, it simply doesn't fit me.
it's never been worn apart from trying it on. $200
i'm also selling a...
Good day fellow hikers. my lady friend and i will be driving down from northeast PA so i can start at the approach trail (Amicalola Falls) GA at some point in Mid to Late February. if anyone has a...
do you know how recent it was made? have you gone over it to check for any rips or holes?
i've 13Lt dry bags and the zpacks food bag. i would prefer the zpacks bag was a bit taller. both work fine though.
i really love the Enlightened Equipment Torrid APEX Jacket. i tried a few different "puffy" jackets before it and for me it's waaaay better.
i've always just throw on the new ones at the start of a zero and walk around town for a bit then next day, start hiking.
bunch of cardio and if you have access to a stair master type thing.. that would be super helpful. oh and also just hiking
i've cold soaked a few times. not my preferred choice but i hate cooking.
i've been using one for about a year now and i can say it's great and totally worth it. they have more than one size now too.
water finds it's way in sometimes.
i also prefer the old one. the new version has a softer back suspension system but that makes is bounce when you hike. also they stole all the useful pockets off it.
there's the Delaware Watergap loop. it connects to the trail for about 1/10 of a mile. parking lot is off 80 on the jersey side. great views.
i hike in sandals as a way to air out my feet and change up the wear pattern i get with my shoes. it helps to mix it up. for me at least. i use xero shoes Z-trail sandals. they're great.
i use a ipod nano.
random weather is a bit worrying.
just throw it on and start trekking.
i didn't know this was a thing and now i'm all about it!
i've had some insane conversations with people on the trail. some of the things i've heard were enough to make me push on an extra 8+ miles to avoid future interactions.
i second the Virginia vote.
also a 0 degree bag.
a tent that costs over $600
do you have any pics?
do you know off hand what thickness that fabric is?
