Taughtline hitch- Tarps to stakes/trees/rocks
Sheet bend- Plastic poly tarp corners to stakes/trees/rocks
make a loop and tie a granny knot- alot of stuff.

I pass out cowboy style alot and I don't trust myself with down. It is clearly lighter and warmer but synthetic is typicaly bomb proof.
