Do you mix them together or eat them separately?
Sounds like a lot more trouble and with residual trash/mess/weight to haul than my 1 oz. solution. But then if you aren't using a Jetboil stove I guess it works well enough!
Jetboil coffee press - weighs 1 oz! Less than Tinker's basket I'll bet. :)

No mess at all. Remove the plunger/screen, twirl under running...
Another Jetboil fanboy here. :)
You must have missed that it's obviously a sarcastic comment.
Black Diamond - yep!
Carbon - nope! They break way too easy. As Don H said, go with aluminum. The couple of ounces of extra weight is negligible and the sturdiness of aluminum over carbon is huge!...
And if you walk into the Atlanta REI with your bowie knife and guns drawn, you might just get a real nice discount!!! :D
As I was reading down the thread, your question was exactly what I was going to suggest. Wait and buy a properly fitted backpack. I agree with REI - Atlanta being your best option.
I like the looks and description of the Anti-Gravity Gear stuff.
If you've got a pretty good sense of direction you can certainly do without a compass. If I spun you around a couple of times and you can't find your way out of your bedroom, then maybe not. Maps are...

My point is I was just being silly . . . joking you know . . . now you go to your corner in time out!
Anyone who calls himself wise and old (and doesn't state his age) can't be that wise!
Permission to unfasten my seat belt to go pee? Please?
<In Corner> sulking, scolded, scorned, sniff, sniff . . .
Well said!!! Very well said!!!
I can't just ignore someone making false statements and painting people who hold to biblical values in an untrue light. Never have, never will. Period!
No sniveling here! :D
Your claim that the BSA is:
- discriminatory, exclusionary, closed-ranks - is based on your core values not being biblically based, AND that you don't feel anyone else has the right to hold to...
Really? You should either be a politician or a news media journalist with your flair for flamboyant BS!
I could be wrong, but I think the OP's question was aimed at scout troop BEHAVIOR on the trail, not ethical standards of the national organization. If my assumption is correct, then Skyline's...
