My thoughts exactly Billy, one would have to wonder how many businesses have closed from the 2020 slowdown of traffic on the AT.
I was just wondering if the WhiteBlaze 2020 pages would be updated for 2021 and when we might see them.

(sigh) Third time's a charm, I hope.First the sale of my house in 2019, then Covid in 2020 prevented me from hitting the trail. 2021 is a new year, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

Good information 4eyedbuzzard, much appreciated! We are staying flexible and will do SOMETHING this year. We also have a plan to hike the overseas trail in the Florida Keys this winter.

You would think both national parks would have the same rules and allow thru-hikers to self register when entering the park. It's not like GSMNP is going to deny permits to AT hikers when they apply.
