I have a pair of gaiters and I love them I agree with everyone that has said "they warm me up, keep rocks and muck off of you" and I have a unique problem I'm allergic to grass so the gaiters keep...
yes I have a very comfy pair of beat up Hi-Tecs (but they are not waterproof)
