100% an underquilt... The size and temp rating is up to you but I'd go down to 20 at the least... Especially if you do alot of 3 season camping. Good luck and hang with it!

We're still getting some pretty cool weather here in NC so I'd imagine they're getting even colder nights up in Mass....so I'd say it depends on what amd how much you want to carry for gear.

It's already ultralight as far as my Jeep is concerned lol... From what I've seen it'd be a nice car camping tent (or maybe kayaking or day camping)

Have you thought about trying a flip flop? The ATC is trying to get more people to go this route as it lessens the impact of those huge bubbles.
