Family stuff has prompted my partner and I to change our travel plans a bit, leaving us without a ride to the southern terminus! We're looking at booking a morning flight into ATL...

My girlfriend and I are starting on April 14th, probably not doing the approach trail. She's hiking with me for the first three weeks and then I'm goin' solo!

Better to stock up on food for the first few days in Atlanta, N. Springs MARTA, or are the places to get stuff within walking distance of the hostel?

Anybody out there? I'd love to get together with some others in the area...

I'll be starting the hike at age 20, turning 21 in July!
