I wish it was easy to find campsites, water, etc. how do you plan a trip w:o this?

How did the Zpacks Duplex hold up? Was there a lot of wind?

I've dry baked scones on carbon felt in a silicon mini baking pan. Works very well near a campfire. 'sticky fingers' scone mix on Amazon works great just add water.

It tastes good. I probably just picked it too much and got tired of it.

The Thai coconut curry was incredible

A loop from the high Sierra trail up roads end up copper creek and back down the jmt.

If anyone is interested. I updated the comments in guthooks app. We had to seriously camel up (10 extra liters across 5 people) one day due to low water.

Normally this shouldn't be a problem but...

My trouble is I'm moving at a very slow pace due to my 7 yo son. So my water encounters are very limited. The locations I mentioned above are daily stops.

Where did you buy it from. Amazons price is not that low.

I probably should have stated I'll be headed south bound. If I understand the Sierra high route correctly, I'd have to back track 1/4 of the JMT to hit the SHR, correct.

Any more direct routes...

Are they any trails from Whitney to the Sequoias? I'd like to finish up my section hike see them, ideally from the tops of the mountains.
