WOW!!!! I crossed paths with this group of girls as I was heading North into Hot Springs. Temps were dropping, snow was falling, and I told them to be careful. Wow!

So then I should have them pick me up in Erwin.... So where would I park the car in Erwin?

I'm planning on starting a hike soon, for 3-4 days from US19E heading South to Erwin TN.
I understand that there is a place nearby to US19E where I can leave my car safely for a fee, can I also...

I wear SmartWool's every day, run in them every other day, and hike in SmartWools and Darn Tough socks. I like 'em both. The Darn Tough socks are a little more comfy.

I have them both - both are good products. I normally wear them at night in my sleeping bag (to help keep my bag clean - in winter). Good stuff.

I use it for running. (well - that and/or RunKeeper) - haven't used it in the manner you describe though.
