Looking for information on the condition of the trail from the MA border up to VT103. Seems like there has been a lot of rain there this year

A number of years ago, I was hiking into Hot Springs NC and the trail ran along side the river. It was very hot and I was about 16 miles into walking in this heat when I stopped, took off my boots...
