JustinNorris - If you leave any weekend (F-Sun) in the month of March or April it is impossible to hike alone! Although, I don't know from first hand experience yet, everyone says is. The only...
Can't you save the weight, buy adding a little fabric and adding a UL drawstring? The added benefit being you don't have a zipper that can get busted.
My dad and the military taught me to carry plenty-o-socks! I carry 1 bed socks and three others. The socks can be rotated out and pinned to the pack to dry or set on a warm rock.

I bought a gregory z55 , but thought it was uncomfortable with weight over 32#. I traded the gregory in for a atmos 50 '08 model. The atmos 50 was hard to fit my stuff in because of the weird main...
take a medicine bottle, drill a hole in it, and put on the hose, then put the bite valve on. with the lid on the medicine bottle you have a way to keep your bite valve clean.
Has anyone had a Shangri-La 3 tent? I'm thinking of purchasing one for my AT thru-hike. I almost bought an older used one on ebay, but someone else got it. Any thoughts, please post.
