I use a z-rest. I found that to be more comfortable than the ridge rest. the egg crate makes it a bit thicker.

Use pre-wrap before taping. I use it for my ankle playing rugby. Stays on all day, usually need scissors to take it off. Also, i have showered with it still on and it stayed for almost 3 days.

I hope it dosent weigh less than mine. Otherwise I am going to have to upgrade :D
