For what it's worth, the first one doesn't actually tell you how to tie knots. It's twelve short stories from 1909, about sailors, con artists, marital spats, etc. The "knots" are the mixups and goings-on of the characters. As a humerous beek, it got very good reviews, so I got it. Sounds like a great read for those times you're in line or waiting for something. Thanks, garup!
