    Default Thank you

I just returned from my thru hike and would like to thank all the members of Whiteblaze for their help in preparing me for the journey. I was definitely a novice hiker prior to leaving but was able to put together a gear list and schedule that allowed me to finish in 108 days. There is no way I could have completed the trail without the insight and expertise the contributors to this site provide. Thank you all for helping make the experience of a lifetime possible.

Nice job, Lone Star, congratulations! It would be great if you could summarize the most important lessons you learned from WhiteBlaze, and then add some that you picked up during your hike!

Congrats, LoneStar! What kind of weather did you have for your summit day?
