    Hello everyone. My name is Katelyn and I'm new here I just wanted to introduce myself and say I'm happy to be here. My 77 year old grandfather gave me the hiking bug. We took our first trip to the Smoky Mountains this past August and we had a blast and made some memories I will never forget. He is in awesome shape and kicked my butt on the trails! So far I have hiked Alum Cave Bluffs, Ramsay Cascades, Andrew's Bald, Clingman's Dome, Chimney Tops, Grotto Falls, some easy trails in the Smokies for leisure, and some mild hikes in Cheaha State Park in Alabama. I look forward to learning here and sharing about upcoming hikes I plan to take on the AT!
