Default Pay it forward, book style, anyone interested?

So I was reading Dogwood's thread about offering a book to a new home, http://www.whiteblaze.net/forum/show...0678-Free-Book.

So this got me thinking... Would anyone consider a book rehoming effort? Name sucks, but swap isn't the right word, and club is just meh.

Idea is, you have a book (or books) that you have read, are done with, and others might like. Post it up, and if you can cover shipping, or need shipping covered. Book goes to new reader. Ideally, books keep getting payed forward to new readers, but not a requirement, if for no other reason than broken expectation.

I know some like to keep books for collections, and that's cool, but some don't want to accumulate more stuff, and getting books into hands to read them makes a lot of sense, at least to me.

So, anyone interested, or is this a silly idea?

Good idea. I'm interested. I don't have any to pass on at the moment (I purged most of mine recently) but I get a few per year that I'd like to see passed forward.
