Default 1/24-1/26 or 1/25-1/25 Delaware Water Gap to Sunfish Pond

Would anyone want to go on a 1 or 2 night trip starting from the Delaware Water Gap? My friend and I are planning on a trip next weekend but he may have to cancel due to work but I would still like to go and am looking for someone or some people to go with. Please let me know if interested.

If I remember right there is no camping at Sun Fish Pond.

    Lightbulb You remember correctly

Camping there is absolutely prohibited and, considering how many people go there on a hike, this ban is (most likely) strictly enforced.

would be an invaluable guide to this area.

The only camping allowed within Worthington State Forest is at the Backpacker Campsite along the Trail. This was true in 2006

    and is still true today.

Note that Backpacker Campsite #1 has been closed for a long time.

IMHO, this would make a good one-day hike:

I was planning on camping at the backpacker site. I'm sorry if I didn't make that clear. The backpacker site is still open as far as I'm aware of. I stayed there last year.
