    about to test my clothes for my thru hike , im in cle Oh its 14 degrees and dropping and wind chills below 0 1 foot of fresh snow/ still snowing / bilzzard .

    im going packless but im doing about a 6 mile jount into town and back , wish me luck

    it was great, got a little chafing , but i will be bringing the 10 pound bottle of gold bond !

    Glad to hear your test run went well. Out of curiosity what layering system are you using. I'm headed out towards Hot Springs today to do a test run too!

    ok, so im wearing a long sleeve under armor cold gear compression shirt, my summer shortsleeve shirt, old navy fleece hoody, and marmot raincoat on top, so 4 layers, shoes would be speedcross 3, darn tough socks, injii sock liner, dirty girl gaiters , and lightweight hiking pants (my legs dont when im moving so i can do this) and a loose pair of boxers but i might grab a pair of tight boxers because i get chafing because im over weight!
