med kit (trauma stuff, vitals, SAM splint, bandages, rolls, 12 x 16 tarp, extra water (8 liters), extra food (MREs), and a pharmacy)
a warmer sleeping bag
sheathed knife
pillow
kindle
gps
ipod
Sleep in a hostel.
"Waning Gibbous" would be a great trail name.
Sleep in a shelter (so far so good, never have and hope never have to).
Being cremated. Man that really burns me up.
Die...............................

I plan NOT to NOT hike sections of the Lone Star Trail President's Day weekend. Beyond that, regarding hiking, I plan NOT to plan.
