Need lodging/ shuttle help this Sat/Sun

A friend that's starting at Springer on Sun am had a snafu on his shuttle from Ashville; he is leaving his car there, then has a ride on Sat morning to where ever he can find reasonable lodging Sat nite and a shuttle to Springer Sun am. I called the Hiker Hostel near Dahlonega but they're full. I need to get back to my friend with suggestions. He's 10 hrs away in FL now.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Wanted to mention that he's driving thru the night to get from FL to meet the person in Ashville where he's leaving his car. The original scenario had him meeting the guy on Sun, but now it has to be Sat. or no ride to GA. The guy can bring him to GA where he can hopefully find a place to spend the night to the and get a shuttle to Springer Mt.
