    Default Merrell trail glove

Anyone hike with these? I'm thinking of switching from trail runners to these.

    a) I'm a bigger guy and burn through sneakers like it's nobody's business.

    b) I wear them all summer anyhow. Last year was the first year of liberating my feet from hiking boots to trail runners. (why didn't i do this earlier?!?!)

I use them for less mile trail runs. I found I am more comfortable in the trail run ascend glove, still a 0 drop, but with my pack on long rocky days, my feet thank me. I have been using minimum shoes for a few years now and can't believe how much they have helped strengthen my legs/knees! Good luck and have fun out there!

I just picked up two pair from Sierra Trading Post when they had a 40% coupon the other day. Hoping to use those two plus two pair of Montrail Rockridge trail runners to get through the summer. Will let you know when I've had a chance to test them out.
