I am surprised it took almost 100 posts for someone to mention this. I considered it...

This is nothing new coming from him... he assumes many things about people & passes judgements on them all the time.

I remembered JB talking about this situation, also. I believed JB when he first shared this but I found it hard to believe that couples actually live their lives like this... that's sad, IMHO.

I can understand this type of "temptation" being hard to resist.

Was JB bragging about it or just being transparent? Some people would rather die than be transparent.

I also think some men would be more jealous than anything else, if they were completely honest.

Last of all, your mistakes don't always define who you are as a person. If they did, we would all be in a heap of trouble.

On that we agree, in real life on the trail it is NOT an issue.
The trouble I have with campfires are the folks that carry a bottle in one hand and a Bible in the other.
You never know which one is talking.

Pink blazing is when a guy hiker does his best to hang out with a female hiker with the intent to hook up with her.

    I know bfayer.

Sierra -- some people along the trail offer "trail magic" to hikers in the form of their own wives or gf. It's true.

But that is differant, right? Cause a man would not be intimidated by a woman. Thats why I always hike with my wife. She will chase those hussies from her man.

Sierra2015, Folks on and around the trail are the same as folks everywhere. If if happens anywhere else, it happens on the trail, all the good, all the bad, and everything in between. People are People.

Having said that the trail is like a small town not a big city. What makes that good is that just like a small town people look after each other much more so than a big city.

Yup Sierra- what bfayer says is very true. The trail is not immune.

No worries though... when you are out there on the trail, you will make it awesome. I believe in you, girl!
